The region's musical life is enriched by a broad repertoire and exciting programmes. Sinfonietta Passau fills repertoire gaps of great symphonic music, presents challenging and rarely performed works as well as world premieres. Contemporary, local composers and soloists are promoted.

 

The Sinfonietta Passau aims to establish its own concert cycle in Passau and the surrounding area. In addition, the city of Passau will be worthily represented in other regions of Germany and Austria through the participation of Sinfonietta Passau in supra-regional festivals and guest performances.
